As a paranormal investigator I have been witness to a few interesting cases and many cases that were debunk-able cases. One that stands out the most was at the Eerie Mansion in Clyde NY...I had been on many investigations previous to this many were debunk cases and none were evidence-able cases. The Eerie Mansion is a large mansion in clyde ny, a little back story (Bill Ely a suspected serial killer who lived in Clyde NY is at the center of this investigation! Bill Ely was thought to have killed many women in the mansion and elsewhere. Just before the police were about to arrest him, he suddenly died (in his thirties), but it is believed that he had hung himself in the mansion. The mansion had seen a lot of violence over the years, like the two servants that had an argument that grew into murder; when the Ely family came home after a trip to New York City, they found the cooks headless body on the third floor where the servants quarters were. There have been many reports of paranormal activity at this location, even the owner is afraid to walk the halls at night - taken from an website) As an investigator my my favorite spot in a haunted location is the deepest darkest spot, usually the basement. I grouped up with a friend and we headed down, the basement was huge and we went to different sides and killed the lights...after spending about 15 min in the basement, everything suddenly began to light up, but not in a normal fashion....it was like massive glowing spider webs were floating through the basement and I could see like it was daylight, only problem was, was that my partner could not see the same thing. After a few moment of conversation between the 2 of us, i began to see what appeared to be 4 heads, i could not tell the sex, but they were floating amongst the glowing webs and bobbing in and out, craziest thing i had ever seen, and very interesting, until that is they began to take turns turning towards me and what appeared to be silently screaming in my face...then everything went black...i collectively gathered my stuff and left the basement, the mansion owner was on premise and i did not want to spook him, i told our group leader about it and immedietly he told me of the story of the 4 women whom they believed to have been prostitutes that Bill had beheaded and buried in the basement. I quit ghost hunting for almost 8 months after this...i have since re-joined and have been back to the location a few times and confronted my fears, but i would dare say that would be #3 on my most scary moment ever!
